Market Maker Websocket Channel: Built for faster, more reliable trading

To enhance institutional trading efficiency and support a deeper, more liquid marketplace, Bybit is launching the Market Maker Websocket Channel (MMWC), a dedicated high-performance connectivity solution designed to deliver faster, more stable access to Bybit's trading infrastructure.

What is the MMWC?
Built for professional trading firms, the MMWC provides direct connectivity for order submission and market data access. With a reliable channel for API order requests, the MMWC delivers:
Lower latency for faster order execution
Higher throughput to handle large volumes of requests
More consistent performance with stable latency and minimal fluctuations

These capabilities help market makers optimize their trading strategies and improve quoting efficiency.

Supported endpoints
The MMWC supports WebSocket connectivity across Spot, Futures, and Options markets.

Eligibility and application process
MMWC access is available to clients who meet the following requirements:
Trading volume: Maintain Pro 3/MM2 level or above.
Application: Eligible clients can apply through their Relationship Manager (RM).
Review period: Applications are typically reviewed within 1–3 business days.
Eligibility restriction: Brokers are not eligible.

Approved clients will receive up to 10 dedicated IP addresses or CIDRs for exclusive MMWC access.

Trial access
Clients who do not yet meet the Pro 3/MM2 requirements may be eligible for a 3-month trial period upon application through their RM.

During the trial period:
• Clients must demonstrate progress toward meeting the Pro 3/MM2 volume requirements.
• Access will be revoked if the required trading level is not achieved by the end of the trial period.

Access review and maintenance
To maintain the performance and integrity of the MMWC, Bybit will conduct quarterly trading volume reviews for all connected clients.

Clients who no longer meet the Pro 3/MM2 requirements will have their MMWC access revoked. We encourage all participants to actively maintain their trading activity to ensure continued eligibility.

How to apply
Eligible clients can apply for MMWC access by contacting their RM or emailing institutional_services@bybit.com. Our team will guide you through the application process and provide any additional information required.

We look forward to empowering our institutional partners with more efficient trading infrastructure while continuing to build the next generation of trading connectivity.
