Bybit is thrilled to announce that the upgrade of the 

) feature for USDT Perpetual, Inverse, and USDC Contracts is now complete. Following the previous upgrade announcement on May 8th, we are excited to introduce enhancements to the Trailing Stop feature, providing traders with even more flexibility in managing their positions.

Here are the key upgrades for the TP/SL feature:

1) Introduction of "Partial Position" TP/SL Order Type

: TP/SL orders do not have to apply to the "Entire Position" anymore. Users can now also specify the order quantity with the "Partial Position" TP/SL order type.

TP/SL orders of Entire Position and Partial Position can coexist simultaneously, and the positions will be closed in the order in which the orders are triggered.

 – The upgraded TP/SL feature now supports three (3) ways to set the trigger price of TP/SL orders:

With the latest upgrade, you can now use the Limit TP/SL function when setting a "Partial Position" TP/SL order. When the TP/SL price is triggered, a Limit order for the specified order quantity will be placed in the orderbook.

Please note that while Limit TP/SL orders will only be filled at your specified price, there is a risk that the order may not be filled after being triggered.

Additionally, the Trailing Stop feature has been enhanced as follows:

2) Activation Price for Trailing Stop (New):

Traders can now define an Activation Price, which serves as the triggering condition for the Trailing Stop exit strategy. When the Last Traded Price reaches or surpasses the Activation Price, the Trailing Stop order is activated. Once activated, the system calculates the Stop Market Order price based on the highest (for long positions) or lowest (for short positions) price, along with the specified retracement amount in either a predetermined percentage or price distance.

Please note that if no Activation Price is specified, the Trailing Stop order will be active immediately upon setup, just as it functioned before the update.

The upgraded TP/SL and the newly added Trailing Stop features are now fully supported on both the Bybit.com website and Bybit App.
