In case you missed it, Bybit’s USDC Options is the first stablecoin-margined Options contract in the market. As the name suggests, USDC Options are collateralized using USDC — the world's second-largest stablecoin that is pegged to the value of the U.S. dollar on a 1:1 exchange rate. USDC offers traders a stable, safe and quick way to enter and exit positions in volatile cryptocurrencies.

In periods of high volatility, USDC options can mitigate the risk of large price swings as they are not subject to the extreme price volatility that is often associated with most cryptocurrencies. Hence, there is no need to hedge the underlying collateral exposure.

A key benefit of portfolio margin is that hedged positions tend to have lower margin requirements.
