Bybit Secures In-Principle Approval to Operate in Kazakhstan

On May 19, 2023, Bybit secured an in-principle approval from the Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA) in Kazakhstan. This milestone underscores Bybit's unwavering commitment to expanding its presence in vibrant and emerging markets.

Upon completion of the full application process, Bybit will be allowed to operate a Digital Asset Trading Facility and provide Custody Services at the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) in Kazakhstan.

Bybit recognizes Kazakhstan as a gateway to the rapidly growing market of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which has shown remarkable progress in embracing cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
