Bybit Receives Official Approval to Operate in Kazakhstan

On Jun 7, 2023, Bybit received official approval from the Astana Financial Service Authority (AFSA) in Kazakhstan. This accomplishment allows Bybit to operate as a Digital Asset Trading Facility and provide custody services as an authorized market institution.

The approval comes after receiving in-principle consent from AFSA in May this year, as Bybit seeks to strengthen its foothold in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) market while complying with local regulations. It underscores Bybit's ongoing dedication to broadening its reach in emerging and dynamic markets, while safeguarding user interests and ensuring transparency to exceed investor expectations.
