On Oct 1, 2023 between 22:37 UTC and 23:48 UTC, Bybit experienced a service disruption with our Trading Bot affecting clients using Futures Grid Bot, Spot Grid Bot, and DCA Bot.The issue has since been fixed and all systems are back to normal.

The root cause of the service disruption was because of a server overload. No customers' funds were at risk during the occurrence. Following the incident, Bybit initiated our protocols and fully resolved the issue within 1 hour and 11 minutes, as of Oct 1, 2023.

The incident caused users who tried to use Futures Grid Bot, Spot Grid Bot and DCA Bot to experience some unexpected downtime.Please be assured that all account balances and trade data were unaffected by the abnormality, and the correct and accurate display has been fully restored.

For Futures Grid Bot, users can't view bot list or assets list, and are unable to create / update / close their own bots. However, running Futures Bots can still place new orders successfully and gain arbitrage profit. For Spot Grid Bot, users can't view bot list or assets list, and are unable to create / update / close their own bots. Running Spot Grid Bots can't place orders or gain arbitrage profit. For DCA Bot, users can't view bot list or assets list, and are unable to create / close their own bots. Running DCA bots can't place new orders.

Bybit took steps to prevent further such occurrences. As always, we seek to provide the best possible experience for all our customers. Immediately after fixing the issue, we have taken steps and committed significant resources for a comprehensive review to prevent future occurrence.
