We're excited to introduce the Retail Price Improvement (RPI) Order, a new order type designed to enhance liquidity and offer improved pricing for retail traders. The RPI Order will go live on Feb 20, 2025.

Matches only non-algorithmic users and does not execute against orders from OpenAPI.

 Acts as a maker order, adding liquidity to the order book.

RPI Orders execute only after non-RPI orders at the same price level.

Only available to select Market Makers across multiple Spot trading pairs.

RPI Orders will be visible on the trading interface but excluded from API order books.

To accommodate RPI Orders, the following API changes will be implemented:

•  "isRPITrade" (boolean) in Get Public Recent Trades

•  "RPI" (boolean) in WebSocket – Recent Trades

Starting Feb 20, 2025, we will conduct a two-month testing period for RPI Orders. After this phase, we will announce the official Retail Liquidity Provider (RLP) criteria and cooperation mechanisms.

To participate in the testing phase, users must have a Maker Vol. Share exceeding 10% in any Spot trading pair category on Bybit. This ensures a smooth rollout before applications open to a broader users. Stay tuned for further updates!
