Bybit to Support Fantom (FTM) Token Swap and Rebranding to Sonic (S)

We are pleased to inform you about the upcoming rebranding and migration of Fantom (FTM) to Sonic (S) on Bybit. All FTM tokens will be automatically converted to S tokens at a 1:1 ratio (1 FTM = 1 S). Please review the key updates and important dates below to ensure a smooth transition and uninterrupted trading experience.

Key Updates and Timeline

1. Spot Trading:

Delisting FTM Spot Pairs:

- Date: Jan 13, 2025, 8AM UTC

- Action: All FTM Spot trading pairs will be delisted and trading will cease.

Listing SUSDT Spot Pair:

- Date: Jan 15, 2025, 8AM UTC

- Action: SUSDT trading pair will be available for trading.

Order Removal: All open orders for FTM will be automatically removed post-delisting.

Deposits and Withdrawals:

- Suspension: Jan 13, 2025, 9AM UTC

- Reactivation for Deposits: Jan 15, 2025, 7AM UTC

- Permanent Removal: FTM deposits and withdrawals will no longer be supported.

2. Perpetual Contracts:

Delisting FTMUSDT Perpetual:

- Date: Jan 10, 2025, 10AM UTC

Listing SUSDT Perpetual:

- Date: Jan 15, 2025, 9:00AM UTC

Action: All active and conditional orders for FTMUSDT will be canceled, and open positions will be closed automatically.

3. Convert Service:

Removal of FTM:

- Date: Jan 10, 2025, 8AM UTC

- Action: FTM will be removed from Convert and Convert Small Balances services.

4. MetaTrader 5 (MT5) Updates:

FTMUSDT Close Only Mode:

- Date: Jan 6, 2025, 10AM UTC

Delisting FTMUSDT on MT5:

- Date: Jan 9, 2025, 10AM UTC

Listing SUSDT on MT5:

- Date: Jan 17, 2025, 10AM UTC

5. Borrowing and Loans:

Suspension of New Orders for FTM Loans:

- Date: Jan 2, 2025, 10AM UTC

Removal of FTM as Collateral:

- Date: Jan 10, 2025, 10AM UTC

Repayment Deadline:

- Date: Jan 10, 2025, 10AM UTC

- Action: All outstanding FTM liabilities must be repaid to avoid automatic repayment and potential asset losses.

6. Flexible Savings:

Closure of New FTM Flexible Savings Orders: Already in effect

Removal from Earn Products:

- Date: Jan 11, 2025, 10AM UTC

- Action: FTM will be removed from all Earn products, with principal and accrued yield credited to Funding Accounts.

7. DCA Bot & Spot Grid Bot:

Closure Deadline for Existing Bots:

- Date: Jan 10, 2025

- Action: Close active Spot Grid Bots or DCA Bots on FTM pairs to avoid automatic termination.

New Bot Availability:

- Date: Jan 16, 2025

- Action: Create new bots on SUSDC, SUSDT, SEUR, SUSDT pairs.
